There are a number of different types of controlled vocabulary/SKOS services available, which we have classified as follows (see linked Google docs for examples and detailed comparisons):
- Creation/management/editing services
- Quality evaluation services (for SKOS)
- Vocabulary publishing services
- Content indexing and searching services
- Content analysis services (extracting vocabulary terms from a body of documents)
