    Hi all,
On the call last Friday we:
    – Agreed not to have a telcon of the group on the 26th.
    – Agreed in principle with the revisions thus far to the Guidelines, with
some work still to be done on: Guidelines 1 and 5, definitions and
bibliography, comment integration, general edits, and formatting.
    – Requested written edits/comments to be sent by March 4th (since I am in
Japan and wish to integrate all written comments on the flight home on the
4th, I would like to make the deadline the evening of March 3rd for the US
    and EU participants).
    – Agreed to hold the next call to consider an integrated set of comments on
Friday, March 19th. I will send the draft with the new edits on March 8th.
    – Formatting and final draft to be discussed on Friday, March 26 or April 2.
    – Beta testing by research data groups in April – July, with finalization
    pre-RDA P8 in September.
Those of you attending the RDA P7 Conference in Tokyo next week, please
participate in the IG for Legal Interoperability of Research Data breakout
session on Wednesday, March 2nd, 15:00-16:30 in Room 101 on the conference
venue. Please see the RDA website and Plenary program for details.
    Thanks!

    Paul and Friends:
I am sorry that my Friday teaching schedules are quite rigid for the next 4 weeks and I cannot join the telecons. Please keep me on the mailing list.
Best regards, …. and for those of you who go to Tokyo, have a great meeting.
    Best-
    Bernard

    Dear all, Paul;
Thank you very much for this, Paul.
I have made note of the next call – 14.00 UTC on 18 March – I assume 19 March is a typo or an error induced by the time difference and your already being in Japan.
For info the description of the Legal Interoperability Session at the RDA Plenary is at https://rd-alliance.org/ig-rdacodata-legal-interoperability.html (Wednesday 2nd March – 15:00 – 16:30, JST)
It would be good to touch bases on Mon evening or Tue about the session. Who will be in Tokyo: Paul, Gail and myself. Anyone else?
I have noted the other times/dates (14.00 UTC on 25 March and 1 April) and will send round call details in due course.
    With very best wiehs,
    Simon.
