    I agree with Bob’s explanation, but let me add that even though the
    Principles and Guidelines for the Legal Interoperability of Research Data
    is a group under CODATA and RDA auspices, there is substantial overlap in
    subject matter and membership with the GEO DSWG, and therefore I hope that
    GEO will review and endorse them when they are finalized.
