Dear all,
We are following up with you regarding the cancellation and reimbursement steps in reference to your participation in the RDA 15th Plenary.
This message is of interest only to those of you who have considered including traveling to Melbourne as a cost covered under your Ambassador grant.
If you haven’t already, please check in detail all the cancellation conditions for the bookings you have made and proceed to cancel them as soon as possible.
Please check where refunding is possible directly related to your booking or through other means such as travel or credit card insurance and make the claim. Don’t hesitate to contact / email directly the various customer services; considering the exceptional situation many of the policies have been changed so make sure you check and make the claim.
In case your bookings are not refundable, please send our colleagues at UGOE a copy of that notice (email in CC), so that there is written proof those costs are non-refundable (there is a specific requirement form the EC on this) and thus can be claimed via your grant.
Don’t hesitate to let us know your situation in detail if you need specific support, as we would like to have a clear picture of the various conditions to better understand how reimbursements can be processed.
