For those of you available for the call tomorrow, please find the call in details below.
The call will be focused mainly on discussing the Plenary activities that we would like to encourage you to take part in.
Please find below a short overview of the two main ones:
Ambassadors slot at the RDA EU nodes coordination meeting (21 October 16:30 – 17:30)
The RDA EU nodes coordination meeting will be held prior to the RDA plenary on the 21st of October. We have dedicated a specific slot to the Ambassadors programme, scheduled roughly from 16:30 – 17:30 “The RDA EU Ambassadors and potential room for collaboration with RDA EU nodes”. As the title suggests it, the aim is to define potential ways that the Ambassadors can collaborate with the national nodes. This slot can be used to present workplans and suggest common activities and for an open discussion/brainstorming considering as well the domain focus that some of the nodes have.
RDA Outputs & Adoption Plenary session ( 25 October – 13:45 – 15:15)
Part of the main Plenary programme, the Outputs & Adoption session at the Plenary 14 will take a different approach to showcasing the work of the RDA groups and the available RDA Recommendations & Outputs. The session will be organised around 6 (possibly more) main research themes. Booths will be set up focusing on the themes and bringing together relevant WG & IG, Ambassadors, adopters and others. Participants to the session will be invited to navigate these networking areas. Our hope was to engage the Ambassadors as spokes persons for their domain and give them the opportunity of interacting with the Plenary participants via the themed booths.
We will discuss a few additional invites that we would like to share with you including the RDA and Early Careers meeting (22 October, 15:00 – 17:00 ) and the Unconference Plenary session (24 October, 16:00 – 18:30).
