    Dear all,
As some of you might know already from yesterday’s update webinar, the topic selected for the 2nd Use Case the Community Participation group is data challenges in participatory disaster response strategies.
We have set up a brainstorming document here https://docs.google.com/document/d/19_OX0Lpj4D3gBnLha9xOPAGMcKecXrcBR1cl… and we are organising a writing sprint tomorrow, 14 May 2020 7am UTC / 8am BST / 9am CEST / 5pm AEST – for roughly 1 h. Call in details are available below.
We welcome any input in advance of the writing spring and after but particularly welcome you to the discussion during the sprint.
    Many thanks,
    Timea

Subject: Selecting the 2nd Use Case topic – RDA COVID-19 Community Participation
    Dear all,
As the overall timeframe of the RDA COVID-19 group is limited, it would only be possible for us to address another use case which falls under the Community Participation focus, not more than that.
A few potential topics were identified during the scoping exercise and we would like you, the subgroup members, to have a vote on what should be our priority for the 2nd Use Case.
Please find a quick poll to select your preference at https://forms.gle/hGCth6XTwJz4i8oe8
We will close the poll Monday, 11 May, 23 UTC and will show the results and present the next steps during next Tuesday’s update webinar https://www.rd-alliance.org/groups/rda-covid19#3
We would also very much like to thank you for all the valuable contributions and feedback to both:
    * Initial considerations / Community Participation scoping document
    * Use case: App development for community-generated data
Note that both are still open for comments and edits. All input is appreciated.
    Many thanks again,
    Timea
On behalf of the Community Participation subgroup moderators
