The Citizen Science Association working group
for Data & Metadata has
recently published the *Public Participation in Scientific Research* (*PPSR)
Core*. PPSR Core is a set of global, transdisciplinary data and metadata
standards to allow data to be used across platforms and projects in a
consistent manner, furthering the research goals of the scientific
community.

On a personal note, I would like to wish everyone a safe and joyful festive
season. It has been a wonderful experience working with everyone in this
group through the challenging times we had during the year. I’ve made some
wonderful connections and made some great friendships.
