Hello all
This group had an informal lunch meeting during TDWG. The primary outcome of this meeting was that we will begin exploring the creation of a Darwin Core extension for attribution. Representatives of iDigBio were present and agreed to move forward with exploring adoption of our recommendations.
In addition, our recommendations have been submitted for comments here.
The recommendations have been submitted to the Data Science Journal for review and publication in a special issue for RDA outputs. A big thank you goes out to everyone who helped me edit the manuscript and added their name to the author list.
I will be attending P12, but my funding was uncertain until after the deadline for session proposals. Therefore, we will not have a formal meeting of our group, but if there is enough interest I can organize something during lunch or evening time. Please let me know.
