Hi all. Some updates have been made over the last two days on the navigation structure of the IDW site. The IDW Programme is now a main navigation heading, with dropdowns to the main programme, the RDA Plenary page and the SDC page. Alex is still working on the listing of side meetings, but we should have that posted in the next day or so.
Rorie, Ina and Simon should now have access to the site. Rorie/Ina – you should have received instructions on how to access the pages and change your password. Let me know if you do not. Simon, your credentials from IDW 2016 should still be active. If you need to change them, let me know and I’ll initiate the process. You will probably need to login at internationaldataweek.com/user to get started.

Hi Simon. I agree on all points. Alex and the developers at TrustIT are working on enhancing the programme pages this week for us and I planned on reviewing their results when I return from vacation on Monday. It’s a little complicated due the current structure of the navigation and design, so we are relying on those who have more Drupal expertise to assist us with the updates. I’ll also be happy to set up write access for the site for all of you.

Hi Yolanda,
I’m writing about two things that came up in today’s call.
First, it would be good to have, linked from http://internationaldataweek.org/idw-2018-programme a page or a set of pages where we can provide information about side events.
In the case of the CODATA General Assembly, it *may* be enough simply to put a link from the programme http://internationaldataweek.org/idw-2018-programme but it could also be good to provide on the IDW site a bit of information about the side events – at leat those that are more open.
Secondly, and relatedly, i think we should revisit the question of edit access to the site. Please can at least Rorie, Ina and myself be given write access? (I had it for Denver, but I don’t know if it is still available and I no longer have the details). I think it would also be useful if the EMC had access as they will be responsible for certain information pages.
