Hi folks,
Simon and I have been talking and we came up with the following agenda for tomorrow’s call. Can someone volunteer to take notes?
Agenda:
– Review of current “offers” to host IDW. What information do we have? What do we need? Can we make a decision on the city now? If not what is the process for deciding?
– Define roles/subcommittees for major work, including:
– the primary local contact and/or organization
– a sponsor engagement and coordination team
– primary Organizing Committee chair or coordinator
– joint program committee from overlap of the two PCs to plan Wednesday and to ensure overall coherence across the week (this is a proposal from Simon and I).
– others…
– next steps in setting up committees, next call,etc.
– ideas for the Wednesday. I think there have been several conversations going on about this, so we should all share our ideas. This has the potential to be a big deal.
