We are excited to bring you the best of the best from September 12th through 16th, and we couldn’t have done this without you.

JOIN US AT THE KICK-OFF BREAKFAST
Join us to officially launch Denver Startup Week at the Kick-off Breakfast on Monday, Sept. 12 from 8:30 to 10 a.m. at the Seawell Ballroom.
This high-demand event will feature:

* Denver Startup Community Speakers Eddie Kim, co-founder and CTO of Gusto, Lee Mayer, co-founder and CEO of Havenly and Chris Terrill, CEO of HomeAdvisor.

Registration for the #DENStartupWeek Kick-off Breakfast will open Monday, Aug. 29 at 2 p.m. We will send an email out with a link to register for free at that time, so set a reminder and be ready, as this event sells out quickly!
INAUGURAL PITCH CHALLENGE
APPLICATIONS DUE AUGUST 29
The Denver Startup Week Challenge is by-the-community, for-the-community. Your pitch submissions will determine the FOUR TRACKS that will be competing, based on the quantity and quality of pitches (just like the session selection).
Up to 8 semi-finalists in each track will compete on the evenings of Tuesday, September 13 and Wednesday, September 14, and the top 2 finalists from EACH TRACK will present in front of the entire startup community on Thursday, September 15 at 7:00pm at Galvanize on Platte for the honor to be chosen as the first Denver Startup Week Champion.
On the line – bragging rights! And – the most awesome prize package ever offered by Denver Startup Week.
Applications are open now and due by August 29 at 11:59pm.
Teams selected will be notified on or around September 1 of their selection.
This is the best opportunity to showcase your ideas, we can’t wait to see what you have in store.

The always-anticipated Basecamp, launched by Chase for Business, will swing open its doors for fourth consecutive year as a central hub during Denver Startup Week. Basecamp pops up in the heart of Downtown Denver at Arapahoe St. and the 16th Street Mall (first floor of 1515 Arapahoe St.). Inspirational talks and panels featuring founders, CEOs, innovators, investors, and incubators will start on the hour – every hour – throughout the week.
Highlights include the ever popular “Pitch Tech Stars” event, a deep dive into the importance of social impact investing, the opportunity to network with the best VCs in the state, as well as creative sector entrepreneurs and Colorado’s leading veteran entrepreneurs. Mentor hours, and a new opportunity, called Biz Dev Sessions, will let attendees pitch one-on-one to large company leaders. Stay tuned for more, including Fireside Chats and the Startup Farmers Market, featuring local food startups.
