I am very pleased to let everyone know that we published a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the FAIRware project earlier today – please see the link below for more information and I’ve copied the text of the announcement below for ease of reference:

FAIRware is a funder-led initiative to design and develop online open source tools to help embed the FAIR principles. It is a project of the Research on Research Institute (RORI), and is led by the Austrian Science Fund, Canadian Institutes of Health Research, National Institute for Health Research (UK), Swiss National Science Foundation and Wellcome. Through the RFP, we are seeking suppliers to work with Wellcome DataLabs to develop a minimum viable product for FAIRware.
We are collaborating with the FAIRsFAIR project to develop FAIRware – our colleagues in FAIRsFAIR will provide expert input to the project and help to ensure that it builds on previous and ongoing work to implement and embed the FAIR principles – including the ongoing work of FAIRsFAIR and of the RDA FAIR Data Maturity Model Working Group. FAIRSharing is highlighted in the RFP as a core resource and centre of expertise.
The deadline for initial expressions of interest to participate in the FAIRware project is 16 October.
