    To all members of Exposing DMPs WG, Active DMPs, and DMP Common Standards WG 
    You may be interested to read USA National Science Foundation (NSF)’s  May 20, 2019 Document Number: nsf19069, a Dear Colleague Letter: Effective Practices for Data  (on Effective Practices for Data).   The purpose of this Dear Colleague Letter (DCL) is to describe — and encourage — effective practices for managing research data1, including the use of persistent identifiers (IDs) for data and machine-readable data management plans (DMPs) & states that  “open science can be further advanced by two effective data practices: use of persistent IDs for research data, and use of DMP tools that create machine-readable DMPs.”
