We have decided that we would like to proceed with four different avenues of our work outputs that are listed in the notes and here:

Overview of repositories and metrics that are implemented

Count: nothing, custom, compliant with COUNTER

Display: nothing, anonymized, full metrics

Barriers to adoption

Survey to community

Awareness: is the repository aware of COUNTER CP?

Our addressing these barriers to adoption

Overview of utility and shortcomings that we foresee for data usage metrics interpretation

How closely does the model of CoP fit with the actual practice that is out there in the field (modeling datasets, counting components/granularity, etc)

 
We are looking for interest and feedback from the rest of the group. Our first deliverable we would like to prioritize is a mass survey addresing points 1 + 2 that could be reported back on at RDA Philly. If you are interested in contributing to this WG effort, please sign your name on the notes document linked above. We will schedule more virtual calls to check in on this work and hope that more can get involved.
