    Hi Bridget,
You are very welcome, of course.
In the due time, your suggestions about starting and managing a WG will be valuable indeed.
    Best,
    Stefano

    Hi Stefano et. al.
I’d like to attend the Plenary session and pre-plenary teleconference if possible. Also, as I’m the TAB liason to the Brokering IG, please let me know if I can be of assistance to you in any way.
    Best

In science, Brokering architectures introduce a new (middleware service) framework that does not belong either to the Data Producer’s or to the User’s Communities. Its governance and sustainable operation emerges as a clear challenge.
With the introduction of brokering in major information system initiatives, addressing the issues of governance is important at this time.
At the next coming Plenary, the Brokering IG is organizing a session to discuss this challenge, presenting important experiences from significant programs, such as GEOSS and Earth Cube.
The final goal is to establish a WG on the “Governance of Brokering middleware”.
Members interested in attending the session and/or being part of the WG are kindley asked to post a message and, possibly, to join the teleconference which will be organized before the Plenary.
