Joint session with Libraries for Research Data at RDA P11 in Berlin

    Hello everyone,
    At the upcoming RDA plenary in Berlin, we will be holding a join session with the Libraries for Research Data IG.  Our session will be Friday March 23rd at 9am – 10:30am Central European Time (CET). 
    Below is a link to the session page and the meeting agenda.  For those of you who will be unable to attend in person, we are investigating remote access and will report back once we have details.

    Introduction to each group’s community and mission (5 minutes)
    Current and past IG projects

    Presentations (5 minutes each)

    Appraisal (ARPRD)
    Digital Preservation (ARPRD)
    23 things (L4RD)

    Discussion (15 minutes)

    How ARPRD might learn from the work done by L4RD
    Would L4RD be interested in collaborating on either ARPRD task?

    Proposed joint projects (10 minutes each)

    Metadata 2020 Library Group related task (L4RD)
    Untitled increasing awareness project (Joint proposal)

    Open discussion on potential projects of interest to both communities (20 minutes)

    If no new projects proposed, or if the previous projects have strong interest, we may use this time to focus on those projects.

    Closing discussion on which projects the two communities might move forward with, including potential joint working groups to take projects forward (15 minutes)
