We’ve had a BOF proposal accepted for the Montreal Plenary to discuss
common services across the HASS sector. Find more detail here:

We would like to find some people to present some cases on
services/solutions they have in place or use as defined in the BOF proposal
(or perhaps an update from any relevant IG/WG activity). Are you interested
in presenting a case?
If anyone is really interested in the BOF we’re happy to get
co-facilitators.
Very briefly the objectives of the session are:
Please list the meeting objectives *
1.
Identifying common services, workflows and standards used across the
sector and the current gaps that might be a focus of an existing or
potentially new IG or WG with specific interest in:
1.
A Name Entity Recognition workflow (NER) and service
2.
A connection to a Unique Names Index (UNI) service
3.
A Persistent Identifiers (DOI/URI) linked data
4.
An Acknowledgements (Citations) solution for contributions.
2.
Defining a framework to develop a list of services, standards,
international data stores
3.
Identify examples of support, training and skills development available
4.
Identify opportunities for future international collaboration
