The Research Data Alliance will be hosting a panel discussion at PIDfest 2024 in Prague, Czech Republic.

Speakers Hilary Hanahoe (RDA Secretary General) and Natasha Simons (Director – National Coordination, Australian Research Data Commons) will highlight the RDA’s strong focus on PIDs (persistent identifiers) as foundational elements of scholarly infrastructure, and bring together experts from RDA Groups working on the topic.

What is PIDfest?

PIDfest is a three-day international summit of talks, activities and workshops focussing on how persistent identifiers can deliver world-class research infrastructure. The goal of the event is to bring together PID advocates, users, and leaders from around the world to solve real world infrastructure challenges that will accelerate research and innovation. Attendees can expect energetic discussions focussed on solving real world challenges in delivering research infrastructure. This year, PIDfest will take place from 11-13 June 2024 at the National Library of Technology in Prague, Czech Republic.
