Natalie Harrower, DRI & RDA Europe Ambassadors programme co-chair
RDA provides an open forum where solutions are discussed, and experiences shared: its community-driven and bottom-up nature ensures continuity with current best practices and integration of contributions from researchers across domains, national, geographical and generational boundaries.
To support discipline or topics focused activities, the RDA Europe Ambassadors programme offers up to six grants of a maximum of €7,000, targeting recognised domain experts and skilled communicator who can serve as conduits between RDA and organisations, and the wider domain specific communities. By ensuring this 2-way communication, the grants also aim to help discipline experts grow their network and collaborate with like-minded people and organisations, while increasing the impact of their work, professional growth and recognition. RDA Europe is committed to provide successful candidates with both financial and operational support for the Ambassadorial work, and the official acknowledgment of the role taken up and contributions.

The first part of the webinar was focused on an overview of the programme objectives and benefits, evaluation and selection and financial contribution. For the second half, we have addressed questions from the participants on the eligibility criteria, activities covered, eligible costs and much more.
