I am the University of Bath’s Research Data Scientist, based in the Library’s Research Services. My background is in biology, having worked for several years in commercial research on plant pathology, followed by an undergraduate degree in Biology and a PhD in Evolutionary Genetics. I co-ordinated the Jisc-funded Research360 project, which established a pilot infrastructure to support management of research data at the University of Bath. In my current role, I provide support on data management planning, funder data policies, training and guidance.
