My research focuses on gravitational wave detection, particularly data analysis and source theory, including large-scale numerical simulations. I have created and supervised a number of software projects, including the workflow engine Triana. I founded the online open-access journal family Living Reviews, and have been active in the open-access movement, particularly through the Berlin Declaration.
