Ana Petrus

Dr. Ana Petrus was appointed associate professor / senior lecturer of Data Management at the University of Applied Sciences of the Grisons, Switzerland, in 2021. Previously, she worked as consultant and lecturer for research data management at the ETH Library. There she developed best practices and guidance on data management, as well as teaching and advising researchers and students on topics along the entire data lifecycle. Before switching to information science, she worked in climate and environmental-systems research for many years, where she, among other projects, co-led one on the digitisation of a multi-format archive with over six decades worth of ecological observational data and accompanying analysis software. Her background lies in environmental sciences and she holds a PhD in the field of atmospheric physics from ETH Zurich.
