Francesca Biliotti (Arezzo, 1984) is Research Fellow at the Department of Education, Human Sciences and Intercultural Communication (University of Siena) for the project "Voci da ascoltare", Unisi & Unicoop Firenze, 2016/2017). She received her degree in Linguistic and Cultural Studies in 2010 (mark: 110L/110) from the University of Siena. Her thesis "Opinioni, atteggiamenti e confini linguistici in Toscana: esperimenti di matched-guise sulle parlate fiorentina e aretina" investigated the stereotypes attached to the language variety of Arezzo compared to that of Florence. The results were published in the Proceedings of the Workshop “Sociophonetics, at the crossroads of speech variation, processing and communication” 14-15.XII.2010, Pisa, Scuola Normale Superiore, 2012. From 2011 to 2013, she worked (first with a collaboration contract, then with a research fellowship) at the description and orthographic transcription of the oral archives preserved by the project "Grammo.foni: Le soffitte della voce" (Gra.fo, Scuola Normale Superiore & Universitty of Siena). Since then, she has co-authored several contributions on the Gra.fo project. In 2014, she had an occasional service contract with Scuola Normale Superiore for the auditory analysis, acoustic analysis and measuring (with dedicated softwares) of different regional Italian speech stimuli within the project "Modeling speech variation in the socio-communicative context". From 2015 to 2016, she worked (with a collaboration contract) for the Department of Education, Human Sciences and International Relations within the project "Manager didattico nella formazione di terzo livello".
