Muchiri Nyaggah

Muchiri serves as the Executive Director at the Local Development Research Institute (LDRI), an action-oriented think tank whose work contributes to the efforts of African governments to end extreme poverty, end hunger and reduce inequalities. Their work is focused on the role of agricultural transformation in ending hunger, poverty and inequality especially the capability of states to have available to them and use the data and statistics required for decision-making. LDRI is also actively involved in building the capacity of non-state actors in interpreting, visualising and disseminating open data for agriculture and nutrition, especially within the context of CAADP.
