Jean-Marc Sinquin, project manager for marine onboard software manufacturer Oceanographic Research Institute has over 20 years’ experience in IT marine solutions. Jean-Marc Sinquin holds “engineering and IT computer science, degree obtained from H.E.I. (Hautes Etudes Industrielles, Lille, France) in 1992 and Master’s degree in Software Development from ENSTB in 1994. He is currently working on a collaborative project between SHOM and Ifremer to provide a sound velocity profile editor to be shared by the hydrographic and oceanographic communities. For the last five years, he has been deeply involved under Eurofleets1, Geoseas and EMODnet projects.
