Silvio César Cazella holds a PhD in Computer Science from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, having done a sandwich doctorate at the University of Alberta in Canada. He holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from the same University and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul. He is currently an Associate Professor - Level III at the Federal University of Health Sciences of Porto Alegre. He is permanent professor of the Graduate Program in Health Education (UFCSPA), of the Graduate Program in Information Technology and Health Management (UFCSPA), collaborator of the Graduate Program in Health Science (UFCSPA) and permanent professor of the Graduate Program in Informatics in Education (UFRGS). In his Lattes curriculum the most frequent terms in the contextualization of scientific, technological and artistic-cultural production are: Recommendation Systems, Data Mining, Data Mining, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Expert Systems, Data Warehouse, Distance Education, Informatics in Education and Continuing Education. Visiting Professor at Université Toulouse - Jean Jaurès (2022).
