Descanon Cook

I’m a third year Interdisciplinary Studies student at Laurentian University, major Indigenous Studies, minor Sociology. I am also a student researcher for Up North on Climate Change, a northern climate adaptation research group especially collaborating with remote Indigenous communities around issues of food sovereignty, wild fire impact, climate impact, and community health impact. I also intern with the International Indigenous Speaker’s Bureau in their communications department.
