Mary Oberlies

Mary is the Instruction & Data Services Librarian at William & Mary in Williamsburg, VA. In addition to a Masters of Library Science, she also has a Masters degree in Violence, Terrorism & Security from Queen's University at Belfast, a Science, Technology and Security Graduate Certificate from George Mason University and a Bachelors in International Studies from Berry College. She conducts research on equity, diversity and inclusion within libraries, and teacher epistemology and instructional education. In her role at William & Mary, she works with faculty, staff and students engaging in data curation and analysis, as well as research in government and affiliated fields.
