Giulia Tucci is a Ph.D. student at the Information Sciences Graduate Program at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ). She holds a Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering from COPPE/ UFRJ (2011) and is graduated in chemical engineering (Pontifical Catholical University of Rio de Janeiro, 2006). With experience in mathematical and computational modeling, since 2017 she is a research fellow of NetLab, a Laboratory of microssosicology and network studies at UFRJ. Her research involves computer programming, social media analytics, political studies, and disinformation studies.
