He served in ESR also as chair of the Imaging Biobanks working group, and of the Computer Applications subcommittee. Prof. Neri is and Past President of the European Society of Medical Imaging Informatics (EuSoMII) Prof. Neri spent most of his scientific / research carrier in the field of imaging informatics, gastrointestinal imaging and head and neck imaging. The most recent activities have been focused on the development and validation of imaging biomarkers, imaging biobanks and artificial intelligence
