Anastasia Kvasha

I am a researcher in the field of Earth Observation applications, particularly focusing on community resilience and disaster risk reduction. I was engaged in activities of international (UNOOSA) and regional (Asian Disaster Reduction Center) organizations dealing with promotion of space-based information and geospatial technologies for sustainable economic and social development. I am also a project manager and research assistant at the Environmental Systems Laboratory at Central European University (CEU), Hungary. I am currently pursuing a PhD at CEU exploring challenges in diffusion and application of geospatial data and technoogies in building community resilience.
