My current role is coordinating the work with research data at Umeå University Library at a local and national level. My professional experiences includes research in plant science and work with research infrastructure at different Swedish universities. As for research, my work contributed to the understanding of the functions of the lumenal chloroplast compartment of vascular plants and the redox control of chloroplast proteins. As for scientific infrastructure, my work contributed to building up local facilities for biological mass spectrometry and proteomics at the Karolinska Institute in Huddinge (Novum) and at the Chemistry Biology Center (KBC) of Umeå University. I am a board member of the Swedish Mass Spectrometry and I was a member of the Swedish management committee of the COST action FA0603 (Plant Proteomics in Europe).
