Tuelo Ntlotlang is a professional Librarian, her experience is on academic libraries. She is currently employed as the Subject Librarian for the Directorate of Library Services, Botswana International University of Science and Technology (BIUST), Palapye-Botswana. Her duties include but not limited to:- serves as a marketing and liaison agent between the University Library; faculty staff and students, undertakes user needs assessments in her assigned departments so as to develop appropriate library services; as a teaching librarian, she develops and delivers program for information literacy skills and coordinates the Institutional Repository project. She liaises extensively with academic, research and library staff to identify and collect information about data collections at BIUST. She started her career with University of Botswana library responsible for:- supervising and monitoring interlibrary loans unit; indexing and abstracting and ensuring accuracy of data input into the library database; ordering and classifying grey literature for special collection called Botswana Documentation and Special Collection and uploading published journal articles on University of Botswana Research, Innovation and Scholarship Archive (UBRISA) digital repository. She then joined Botswana Open University, previously called Botswana College of Distance and Open Learning (BOCODOL) Library as a Librarian. Her duties was coordination of BOCODOL Institutional Repository, teaching information literacy skills, provides user education and reference services and also responsible for acquiring, classifying and cataloging library items Tuelo holds Postgraduate Diploma in Information Technology (Amity University -Online)), Master’s Degree in Library and Information Studies (MLIS) and Bachelor of Library and Information Studies Degree (BLIS) both from University of Botswana. Ms Ntlotlang is a recipient of Data Science training award: CODATA International Training Workshop for Developing Countries on Big Data for Science- Beijing, 2016. Ms Ntlotlang published an article in 2016 with Emerald Publisher, titled "The role of libraries in the dissemination of health information in Botswana: a study of Mochudi and Molepolole public libraries" in Library Review, 65 (4/5). Her area of interest include: Academic libraries,Public libraries, Health information, Data management, Open access, Open science, Big data, Research data management. She is presently an active member in the following National Professional Societies;- Botswana Open Data Open Science National Committee, Botswana Library Association and Botswana Libraries Consortium
