I contribute to Sustainable Development projects and Small Entreprises with technical design and realisations (hardware and software). Our latest development is ELSA, a free OpenSource software to gather data from sensors and manufacturing process in order to give small Food transformers complete control and traceability on Quality, Security and Environment protection. Since 3 years, we implement field applications using&creating Open Source Software and weatherproof computers (Open Innovation project AKUINO.net). We harden the Raspberry Pi (IP65 enclosure, strong battery) and we use Python language to create applications for the field, applications that real people working on real problems may like. We are working daily with Gembloux AgroBioTech engineers. For 30 years, I have been helping libraries, institutions and businesses to make their catalogue (documents, products and other resources) available to the public. I aimed to "close the loop" from discovery to learning to authoring to publishing... I was developing in Java, improving software like DSpace.org and ASKOSI.org.
