Denis Parfenov

I am an entrepreneur, open data activist, Open Data Governance Board member and the Open Knowledge International Advisory Board Member. I am passionate about empowering evidence-based decision-making through open knowledge and development of public data infrastructures driven by open-source technologies. I have been working on Data Management Hub an architecturally distributed and politically decentralised research data management solution which enables scientists to collaborate on sensitive data privately and to make their research outcomes verifiable, findable, accessible and re-usable to the future generations of scientists, in order to empower research reproducibility universally. I hold a Master’s Degree in International Business from University College Dublin and a Master’s Degree in International Relations from Dublin City University. I am a self-confessed dog-fanatic who enjoys long walks and photography.
