Mr. Alexandre De Masi is a PhD student and member of the Quality of Life Lab at the Institute of Service Science of the University of Geneva. He holds a BSc in Telecommunication & Network Engineering from University Of Lorraine (Nancy). He was awarded a Erasmus Mundus scholarship by the European Union in 2013 to complete his MSc in "Pervasive Computing and COMmunications for sustainable development". His MSc was conducted at the University of Lorraine, (France), Lappeenranta University of Technology (Finland) and Luleå University of Technology (Sweden). Each university focus on specific innovative technologies enabling pervasive and sustainable computing like Smart Software & Services, Internet of Things and Green, Cloud and Mobile computing. Alexandre De Masi completed his master thesis titled: "Load balancing in P2P smartphone based distributed IoT systems" while at the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO) in Melbourne (Australia) supervised by Professor Arkady Zaslavsky and Doctor Prem Jayaraman.
