Mikael Elbæk

Currently, Mikael K. Elbæk is a senior consultant in information management and data management at Devoteam in Denmark. He works in particular with the implementation of master data management strategies in the public and private sector. He has 10+ years of experience from the university sector working with open access and open science. In particular, he has been involved in policy development and change management. Before joining Devoteam in 2017 Mikael Elbæk was the project coordinator for the establishment of the research data management support unit at the Technical University of Denmark. Prior to that, he has been involved and task leader and national coordinator for big EU projects OpenAIREplus, OpenAIRE and DRIVER-II. During the appointment at DTU, he was also appointed to a number of expert groups including Knowledge Exchange expert group on data management.
