More than 13 years experience developed in the framework of national and international projects focussed mainly on the analysis of the relationships between agriculture and environment and in the production of agricultural statistics. He has particular experience in the development of GIS and Remote Sensing methodologies for the analysis of agri-environmental issues as well as in the field of agricultural land use mapping. Currently he is managing few national projects on irrigation water consumption modelling, soil carbon estimation, urban agriculture mapping, land use dataset integration and quality assessment of webmapping services imagery.
