PLOS, DataONE and CDL Data-level metrics survey

In collaboration with PLOS and DataONE, the California Digital Library is conducting a survey to investigate metrics for datasets. The aim is to learn what metrics of use and impact would be useful to reasearchers and repositories. The responses will directly be fed into a broader project to design and develop metrics that track and measure data use, i.e. “data-level metrics” (DLM).

The survey is addressed to  researchers at any level in any branch of the Sciences or Social Sciences but is equally interested in responses from repository staff.

More information can be found at the project site (http://mdc.plos.org) and in this blog post (http://blogs.plos.org/tech/how-do-you-do-data/).
