Good morning everyone,
We have submitted a proposal to RDA for a plenary meeting of the IG during the P9 meeting in Barcelona. I hope many of you can join us. The focus of the meeting will be on the work of the Task Groups and advancing their work. We expect, as in Denver, a lively discussion.

If you are not yet a member of a Task Group, please reach out to the leaders of those groups or me.
I know many of you are involved in multiple groups within RDA. If any of you have an idea you think would be valuable for a joint session, or a topic for a general, informational session at RDA which has a privacy angle, please do let me know. We have a couple ideas, but wanted to see if anyone on the group had any pressing topic you feel the IG should try to organize a meeting around. The joint session that was organized for Denver was quite a success, I believe and there may be other opportunities for our IG to spread awareness of privacy issues, especially in partnership with other groups. I’ll be reaching out directly to other IG & WG chairs to see if there’s any joint opportunities as well. Any ideas you all have are most appreciated.
