EU Funds - ESoWC 2019 launches new challenges in collaboration with ECMWF deadline 21st April

 

ECMWF presents the second Edition of the ECMWF’s Summer of Weather Code (ESoWC) 2019, an initiative to promote innovative weather-related open-source software. Developers from all over the world are invited to submit a proposal to solve one of the new challenges addressed by ECMWF’s mentors this year. Only the five best submissions will win £5000 each and the opportunity to develop their projects under the umbrella of ECMWF expertise.

"What is the Research Data Alliance and what will it do for you?" at the WESC conference in Cork

 

At the Wind Energy SCience (WESC) conference in Cork, Ireland  Danish RDA node member Nikola Vasiljević from DTU will give an introduction talk about the RDA to the wind energy community. The presentation will emphasise the current strives in developing both the Danish national node as well the wind energy interest group within the RDA. The talk will be presented in the WESC mini-symposium on "FAIR Data Principles in Wind Energy Research", which is chaired by Anna Maria Sempreviva from DTU.

The aim is to create an opportunity for people in the eInfrastructure field to connect and collaborate with colleagues across the Nordics and to enable them to share knowledge and expertise.
