Engaging researchers with research data: What works?

Dear all,

On Wednesday April 3rd at the RDA plenary, we will give an update on the project "Engaging researchers with research data: What works?", during the session IG Libraries for Research Data. The goal of the project is to help institutions increase engagement with RDM among researchers, and we are currently in the process of collecting and analysing activities that different institutions have developed to do just so.

Open consultation on the EOSCpilot 'FAIR4S' skills framework

Dear group members,
The pilot project for the European Open Science Cloud (EOSCpilot) has drafted a 'Framework for FAIR Data Stewardship Skills in Science and Scholarship’ (FAIR4S). We are now looking for feedback on how applicable the framework is in its current form, and reactions to some draft conclusions about skills development on the EOSC.
The FAIR4S framework draws on previous work to identify competences for professional groups involved in stewardship, including some of the work done by the ETDH group and the EDISON project.

Is that in line with the ethic we expect to pursue through RDA? I' m pretty sure in every curricula we have included some skill to write essay instead of a generic ability to find a proxy for that! :-) Sent on rush by my mobile. Apologize for any typo.
