Draft ISO standard - comments and feedback requested
I'd appreciate and comments or feedback on https://www.rd-alliance.org/system/files/documents/InformationPreparatio... nsureLongTermUse-20170420.docx It is relevant to the ADMP IG because it is tries to describe the pieces of information which, based on the concepts of OAIS, are needed for long-term re-use of information. Besides OAIS concepts it brings in ideas and approaches from the Project0 | Add new comment

Join the discussion on active DMPs

Hi all, Getting the most from Data Management Plans by making them active and machine-actionable continues to be a hot topic. We had a really productive workshop at IDCC in late February and have since collected the resulting active DMP use cases into a white paper published in RIOjournal.0 | Add new comment

More Slides on Actionable DMPs from RDA8
Hi All, I uploaded our slides from the Denver meeting for developing machine-actionable DMP use cases to the Active DMPs IG repository (in a folder rather than a direct file upload, but that doesn't seem to pose a problem): https://www.rd-alliance.org/slides-dmps-actionable-and-public-presented-...0 | Add new comment

Future workshop on finding synergies through ADMPs
by Jamie Shiers
Dear all, As those of you who attended the June 2016 workshop at CERN on ADMPs may recall (and/or those who read through the notes from the workshop), a further workshop focussing on finding synergies, leading to potential re-use and/or cost savings was proposed. As I can’t be in Denver, I am sending this reminder now. It is foreseen to hold this workshop also at CERN, in either Spring or Summer (northern hemisphere) 2017. It would focus on projects such as those on the ESFRI roadmap and/or those involving EIROforum institutes and similar worldwide.0 | Add new comment

OAIS Overview The Reference Model for an Open Archival Information System (OAIS) was developed for use in facilitating a broad, discipline independent, consensus on the requirements for an archive or repository to provide long-term, preservation of digital information.
