AW: [rda-covid19-clinical] April 29 RDA Clinical Subgroup meeting on COVID-19
Dear all, yesterday in the telco in the clinical subgroup the topic of consent was mentioned. I found an opinion of the European Data Protection Board (where the data protection authorities of the EU Member States and the European Data Protection Supervisor are assembled). The opinion discusses issues related to consent and more general the legal basis for processing of personal data in the framework of clinical trials for medicinal products.1 | Add new comment

by Dawei Lin
Hi Subgroup, Here is the agenda for tomorrow’s call. 1. Updates from RDA-COVID-19 WG call on Tuesday (April 28) (Dawei Lin) 2. Ideas to improve the clarity of the clinical group’s recommendations (two-page summary) and plans to generate a refined document by April 30 (Andrea Jackson-Dipina) 3. Solicit recommendations on consent issues and sharing imaging and immunological data. If you know somebody would like to contribute to those three areas, please let the moderators know and invite them to join the call tomorrow or join the Subgroup.0 | Add new comment
Two Page: Clinical Subgroup recommendations
by Dawei Lin
Hi Subgroup, Here is a draft of the two-page summary of our current recommendations. It mainly covers the recommendations on clinical trials and trustworthy data resources, which were discussed at the weekly calls. Please feel free to comment on the current content. The purpose of this two-pager is to generate an initial set of recommendations for all COVID-19 subgroups. There still time to add new ones after that. So please continue to contribute ideas to the recommendations and WG Resources. Thank you,0 | Add new comment

Recommendations and resources needed
by Dawei Lin
Dear RDA COVID-19 Clinical subgroup, We appreciate all the discussions and suggestions so far, especially for defining the scope. Our sub-group's tentative goals are 1. Generate recommendations; 2. Compile a list of references related to COVID clinical resources, and 3. make a decision tree to help stakeholders to use references and recommendations towards better sharing. The stakeholders are typically researchers (producing and/or using data), policymakers, funders, healthcare providers.0 | Add new comment
