Re: [rda-covid19][rda-covid19-epidemiology] rda-covid19-epidemiology rds general - Work organization - Issues / Shortcomings
Claire: I was hoping we might come up with a set of tags that are of value particularly when it comes to COVID-19 dataset search. As part of DDI and CODATA we have been working with the Google Dataset Search folks. Perhaps we could enter into a discussion with them on Google Dataset Search filters. In any event, if you decide to go in the direction Carsten is proposing, I would be happy to participate. rda-covid19-epidemiology rds general - Work organization - Issues / Shortcomings
Dear Claire, dear all, it is great to see all the enthusiasm aroud the cooperation on improving COVID-19 related research. A lot of wonderful work and expertise is organized within RDA. Participating in the Epi group I would like to point to some challenges I currently perceive. _Beforehand, as I do not take part in all discussions, sorry if some of this has been mentioned elsewhere or if I did overlook something!_ My concerns are mainly related to some lack of guidance on the documents and overviews to be created.0 | Add new comment
Re: [rda-covid19-epidemiology][rda-covid19-socialsciences] Software best practices for covid-19 WG
Dear Claire! Ad the SHEET textblock you mentioned: In https://docs.google.com/document/d/1PM-rxMvZwTxV2d6sXYmobvc5msFj2JcOdv3V... this might start at "Typically, epidemiology data is first ..." down to "... The effort might consult with other organisations e.g standards and nomenclature developing organisations, to ensure harmonisation." If this is understandable and useful, then so be it.0 | Add new comment

Fwd: Software best practices for covid-19 WG
by Amy Pienta
Dear group members, A cross-cutting topic across all groups is sharing research software. A spin-off group has written a good practice document for this topic -- this is good since we did not address this so afr. The link is below and a request for our group to add comments to the document. Thank you, Amy ************************************************************************************ Amy Pienta, PhD1 | Add new comment

Dear Claire, dear colleagues. I won't be able to attend the meeting today either; I have a FAIR4Health project meeting that I coordinate at the same time I'm waiting for the minutes, so I can contribute later. All the Best.
