Two centimes from an outsider on guidance: even when there is already good quality guidance it can be essential to adapt it to the needs, knowledge, practice and expectations of the target community. And it has to be done by or in very close collaboration with people who belong to the community. The users will likely not have knowledgeable people in their neighbourhood to help them to understand and use the guidance. Best Francoise

I agree James Simple things are much easier to get taken on board than long texts and detailed analysis I haven’t been able to make any of the RDA calls as yet … so I may be speaking out of turn and I don’t actually have the link to the draft document (where do I get that from?) But I would have thought there would be three things the very short report should cover - Practical principles for those making and using software - Principles for policy makers regarding software
