FAIR + Software: decoding the principles on November 23rd at 15.00 CEST.

by Morane Gruenpeter

Dear RDA, FORCE11 & ReSA communities, I apologize for cross-posting. The FAIRsFAIR project's first Milestone about software has been published in October and is now under community review. It has been collaboratively produced by work package 2 task 2.4 - FAIR services & software and had an early experts review by the joint RDA/ReSA/FORCE11 FAIR4RS WG steering committee. Here is the link to the Assessment report on ‘FAIRness of software’ (Gruenpeter et al., 2020)

Here are the sessions you should note if you are interested in software: - Software Source Code IG meeting [1] where the Software Code Identification WG output will be presented. - FAIR software roadmap BOF meeting [2]

Dear All, A quick reminder that we are seeking your input: We invite you to share your pain-point stories relating to computational reproducibility (i.e., the ability to repeat the analysis and arrive at the same results). Whether you are a researcher, data manager, repository manager, publisher, or otherwise involved in the research enterprise -- we want to hear about your experiences!

The goal is to provide a set of guidelines for preparing materials to better achieve this.
