RDA19th Plenary - RDARI Planning Meeting

by James Wilson

Dear co-chairs and members of the RDARI Interest Group, I'm setting this meeting up to give us a chance to discuss in more detail our plans for the RDARI IG session at the 19th Plenary meeting of the RDA. We have already had our session proposal for the conference accepted, but now we need to flesh out the agenda, speakers, the questions we would like to address, and how we can use the session to draw out some useful conclusions and potentially ways forward. The session title is: 'Bringing Together Data Management and Computation - Social and Architectural Challenges'

Research Data Architectures in Research Institutions IG (RDARI) planning meeting ahead of RDA 19th Plenary meeting

by James Wilson

Dear RDARI IG members, I'm please to say that the session proposal we submitted for the 19th RDA Plenary, 'Bringing Together Data Management and Computation - Social and Architectural Challenges', has been accepted. We need to think a bit more, however, about speakers and exactly how we use our 90 minutes to most productively explore the issues and potentially identify ideas to take forward. I've set up a Doodle Poll to find the best date and time for a meeting

by Keith Russell

Hi RDARI-ians, At the upcoming plenary we will be running a session on 4 November at 7:00 UTC. We hope you will be able to make it. We will be running a discussion session on challenges in establishing interoperability. "This session will explore the need for interoperability between institutional systems and services, and the challenges that such interoperability presents.
