Deadline for P15 Group Session Submissions Fast Approaching

Dear Group Members, 

The deadline for group session submissions for Plenary 15 is 28 November 2019, midnight UTC – just two weeks away.

If your group is interested in submitting a session for a working group, interest group or joint meeting session, submissions will only be accepted from your group chairs, so be sure to coordinate with them to ensure proper communication of the submission.   

If you are a chair and submitting for a joint meeting session, all chairs involved in that joint session must be notified of the submission.

Thanks to everyone who attended our thought-provoking RDA12 plenary session!

You can find the slides from our three presentations here. They include:

  • An introduction to the working group's approach and work so far (by Jonathan Petters and Marina Soares e Silva, WG co-Chairs),

Michael,
thanks for this information.
With regard to the use of CTS, my concern here is that this is
certification of the container for the data, and thus is less relevant to
the data that people use. After all, the WG is not Assessment of Data
Repository Fitness for Use...
I'll have a look at the spreadsheet and see what useful comments I can make.

Dear Andrew, Helena, others,
The DANS FAIR data assessment tool is designed to be applicable by both groups (data custodians and data re-users), and perhaps also as a self assessment by the depositor, to see how FAIR his/her data are. But we are still working on a 2nd prototype,
