Update / reminder about the RDA Europe Open Calls: Ambassadors deadline & Plenary 14 calls launch

Dear all,
This is a quick update / reminder about the RDA Europe Open Calls, hopefully of interest to you:
--> Domain Ambassadors Call for applications closes on 20th May, 17:00 CEST.
In this 2nd and final wave, the RDA Europe Ambassador programme offers and additional 6 grants of a maximum of €7,000 each.

RDA IE Meet the Experts presentation, ongoing Open Calls and Webinar invitation

Dear all,
Thank you very much to those of you who have joined our Meet the Expert session last Monday. Hosted by the RDA Ireland coordinator, the National Library of Ireland, the lecture provided by Hilary Hanahoe, RDA Secretary General, covered the opportunities brought forward by the emergence of data intensive science and data management mandates extended to traditional libraries. The talk has highlighted how the Research Data Alliance supports the work of the libraries, librarians, archivists and information professionals in this evolving context.

RDA is an international volunteer member based organisation and as such encourages the initiative and support of its members across the globe to animate their community on a national level. Researchers and innovators are local rather than global.
